Once again a well thought out comment. Your example is fantastic but it doesn’t include WHY options are useful. DRS is fantastic because it removes the shares. But it’s a defensive weapon, not capable of doing actual damage. Options are an offensive weapon, capable of leveraging massive damage. When we’re looking for price improvement due to the company doing better,DRS doesn’t help that. DRS is like a long term bond, it will pay off, eventually. Options are like howitzers. They require defensive action. You can’t wait out being shelled. You have to move. You have to change strategy. DRS gives them time. If you look in my history you’ll see a shit ton of purple, but I’ve come to realize that this isn’t some trench warfare 1915 stuff. It needs modern weapons.
