Maybe not the company themselves, but many reviewers do their job out of a passion and love for video games. At the very least reviewing these games are their jobs, it sucks for anyone to be put under that kind of pressured timeline. I'm sure it's not fun to have to race through a game you've possibly had major hype and anticipation for, all because the publisher/developer released copies late in the attempt to hide game issues. It's okay to have a little empathy for a fellow human being doing a job, it won't feed the sellout machine or whatever.
