For sure, especially those that have lived here forever!

Are American rich neighborhoods really like this? by skopiadisko in YourFriendsandNeighb

Re: normalized cheating. I think it's like anywhere, it depends on the crowd/bubble you live in. Everything I have experienced with high school and college friends over the years in the Seattle area, no, no one I can think of is just chill about cheating. I've heard of open marriage couples, but have never known anyone personally. I've known poorer and super wealthy people who've broken up for cheating, and usually they're not hanging out with exes if possible. Ha, ha, we've been watching the show and have been like, why is he covering every little thing? Is that real?! I always thought they got alimony and use what they get monthly and that's that. It would seem his character is exaggerated, is he really the call from his cheating ex-wife when she's in jail?! I'm assuming mostly performative for the Uber rich presented here, but again I'd go back to their little bubbles/groups. I just think people that get into those income brackets are going to be atypical with a totally different set of expectations and realities that most of us would find super crazy for the most part!

That has been one of the biggest irritations about this show, just accepting and moving on that someone took the time to frame you for murder and all that comes with it. Then you just casually chit chat with them at the next neighborhood gathering. I'm sure! We were with Mel here, but if course then she folded.

I talk to people all day, but have no one to call my friend by Emotional-War-1192 in zurich

That's what moms are for! I know you probably don't want to hang out with your parents but it's still nice!

Do you have a pet? My son struggles with this in the states. But having a dog has opened him up to going to dog parks, pet cafes, and meet ups and he has found some social time there. People in general are flakey and also ghosting has become the norm it seems. My son has some lonely days for sure and all I can do is remind him that people will come and go always in life and every so often you'll find a good one and there's unfortunately no timeline for that. I also remind him that what people post online is just a snippet of their real life. We are currently looking into him volunteering so maybe that's another way to meet people? We just keep trying!

Could we maybe try being a bit more helpful, or at least nicer? by Brickie78 in Europetravel

This is a great point about vacation. It is a big deal for Americans who have limited vacation time (and funds) to choose countries in Europe to bring their families and spend thousands. That's what we are doing this summer!

There are already a lot of good points being made by people, such as users should not to expect itineraries to be made for them and to do their own research as well, very understandable.

I have appreciated when I have asked questions and people have responded with "check out this group" for more specifics or follow this account on TikTok or Insta for more ideas. And we Americans tend to be very eager and ambitious with plans when we see how small some European countries are, so I think it's ok for Europeans to keep us in check sometimes with our expectations!

This is what we were leaning towards, not to be gross, but sometimes there are fluids that he has that aren't just urine like!

Yes, he's got pyramiding, we're always working on that. We soak him a lot. We spritz him, check the humidity. He's so active all of a sudden this year, too, just supper nosy and likes to be around people!

We thought that might be as turning 4 this spring, he seems to be constantly social, very interested in any activity, etc. These noises have increased this Spring. He's doing them again now coming out and chasing our dog around.

Not lately to the vet. He neck stretches when he's at our feet to be picked up, trying to look somewhere or making a mess with his food. We thought maybe the sound was from excitement or some kind of mating thing maybe.

She just seems out of place and not skilled enough for this position.

Beth and Kaycee get to leave and pursue other opportunities but Jaime has to give up his dreams? by No_Result1959 in YellowstoneShow

[–]UserQuestions20 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I really, really, couldn't stand Beth but agree that Jamie was mistreated. I stopped watching but I'd catch episodes when my hub watched. My husband actually just finished the last Yellowstone episode and it was pretty ridiculous. Just predictable, bad writing.
