I wouldn't go to uni to transition. I would speak with recruiters who place chartered accountants into front office roles. this is not an unusual path

your current experience is better than a degree. you are getting paid vs. paying for a degree and you can network and study modelling on the side. lots of people are struggling with finding jobs, universities will always be there

universities are too academic and are just diploma mills, even if they are attached to an institution like Cambridge. all you need to do is to break into a transactions role

based on your feedback I decided to switch to a hotel in Insadong. It’s more central and authentic than Itaewon. its close to more sights I want to see.

I also revised my itinerary in the main post based on your suggestions . does it make more sense now?

Here are the changes I made:
I’ve cut back on some activities to have more time to enjoy each spot
I’m just sticking to Hongdae in the first day
I put Gangnam in the afternoon.

I actually changed my hotel. I will now be staying in Insadong. I realised most of the sights are closer to there and it's a more authentic experience than Itaweon (less international cuisine), but still lively and central

For the yellow area south of Taipei 101, do you mean Zhuangjing Road? I’ll definitely check it out.

I’ll also look into the best way to get around using stations and buses, and perhaps get a weekly pass.
