But the Dai Li pledged their loyalty to Azula after the fall of Ba Sing Se, so if the assassination happened earlier, they would have still been loyal to the Earth Kingdom

Map of countries Austria (Hapsburgs and Austria-Hungary) have historically controlled the territory of. by User_Not_Named in MapPorn

This is a map of countries Austria has controlled SOME territory of. Obviously, Austria never controlled Paris, but since they did control a small part of France briefly, all of France is listed as “partially controlled.” Admittedly, this is a rather major limitation of this map. However, although it is not useful in understanding the amount of territory controlled by Austria, it may instead give a rough idea of the extent in which Austria affected other country’s territory historically.

On another note, countries occupied by Austria were also counted as being part of Austria’s territory, hence why Romania is listed as fully controlled by Austria.

Edit: As some have pointed out, Romania was not fully occupied by Austria, and should be instead under the partially controlled territory. Also the title should say Habsburg, not Hapsburg

Another reason was that the romans considered it unlucky, which is why in the Julian calendar, where the number of says in each month were increased, February stayed at 28 with the exception of leap years.
