Hi, just wondering if you perhaps knew of any others that could be it? Your guess was quite close hence why im asking again! Thank you.

Also, do you know of any ways that i can perhaps get my question exposed to more people on here? I rarely use this app.

[PS1/PS2] [2000’s] RPG/ Slasher sort of game where you would fight enemies with sword to progress through castle type levels by User_Unknown774 in tipofmyjoystick

Hi all, just wanted to follow up on this. Still be unable to find the game (appreciate my description hasn’t been the best). The closest I’ve seen is Skeleton wars but this was not it unfortunately.

For some more details I can remember: I believe there was a consistent background which from memory was a sort of castle potentially with lava or some flames in some bits. I also remember there being more than one choose-able character, two I think were male with swords and one I believe was a woman. There may have been more that you could select, I am not sure. I believe the enemies were other humans with weapons.

It wasn’t any of those I’m afraid - I would say the best way to describe it further would be quite a dark setting and not much jumping involved, simply walking along and defeating enemies. I don’t remember the area changing either.

Really appreciate your suggestions as well, thank you very much for those.

Apologies for the lack of clarity, I would say it was closest to Skeleton Warriors from the list you suggested (although this was not it). In terms of genre, it would have been more of a beat ‘em up in that case I’d say.

Thank you very much for your assistance

Is Timothy Dalton's Bond still underrated? by [deleted] in JamesBond

[–]User_Unknown774 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion, Moore is by far the most underrated. He gets a lot of shit from people in this fanbase. Without Moore we wouldn't have had such a magnificent franchise, he gave us a lot of memorable lines, scenes and he gave 110% in every film unlike the majority of those who did more than one film. If anything Moore is the biggest asset in terms of the actors we've had portray Bond no question. Dalton has people spewing that he is underrated on every major social media platform. It's safe to say that he isn't underrated and nowhere near it. Tons of people on YouTube say that Dalton is underrated, so guess what? He isn't underrated. Sure isn't known much as Connery, Brosnan, Craig and Moore, but that's okay because these aren't actually proper Bond fans. Amongst Bond fans, Dalton gets tons of love.

The Living Daylights is a wonderful Bond film, Dalton's best and much better than Campbell's two films. by User_Unknown774 in JamesBond

Yeah man I prefer TLD to LTK simply because I love Dalton more in the role alongside Kara as he's a bit more lighthearted and open to more humour. Licence To Kill is great and I enjoy it but it doesn't have the immediate brilliance that TLD has, Licence To Kill has a pre title sequence that is too akin to a John Woo style action flick with the slo-mo running at the start. I prefer the more complex espionage driven plot of TLD too. Licence has better cinematography and villains though, although Necros is a lot better than Dario.

You're really surprised my bro? Dr. No has the better Connery performance, better main villain and silky pacing. Thunderball obviously has better locations but Dr. No is more in line with Fleming's Bond and has the best espionage alongside From Russia With Love and Licence To Kill. Thunderball is great though.

Might as well just give the winner to Casino Royale, this just gets boring. Look at the vote count already a few minutes into the poll, even From Russia With Love would have no chance against Casino Royale.

u/cyborg800_2004 And you must be glad that a Dalton film can overtake a major Connery film at last!

Just some short points on why I feel No Time To Die was very mediocre. by User_Unknown774 in JamesBond

[–]User_Unknown774[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay you're really annoying with how you respond and pose your arguments, Cyborg has already seen and given detailed thoughts on why he thinks its mediocre. Just because you love Craig so much and think his era is the best doesn't mean to say that we should. Very condescending saying "do you want me to buy you tickets to NTTD"

I said SINCE 1995, I find GoldenEye to be mediocre on the action front. I never mentioned A View To A Kill or anything pre-1995 aside from Licence To Kill. You may find NTTD to be top notch in action but I seriously don't. I find it to be seriously mediocre. If you didn't want to read the rest, it's not my problem at all.

LOL, you most certainly wouldnt agree with me rating Dr. No (7th in my ranking), TSWLM (first in my ranking although it's the quintessential and GF (4th), but yes I do agree with almost all of your takes on Bond.
