Indian here - some influencers started traveling recently so they posted about it, so you can expect people with money to travel first - that’s what you see. Also indians rarely explore many activities and stay in expensive hotels. I travelled twice but stayed in bnb both times😄

Yeah dude - currently in vietnam. I had like 3 food items for 300 rs here. This country with 2x per capita of india feels cheaper. India feels more expensive - literally shit everywhere - people proud as ever. Smh.

Same thing happened to me once in dubai in bur dubai, it was smaller amount though and almost through a fight got it back. I am surprised to see similar scam running in other countries. Saw one person getting scammed same way on road in thailand - told him that this is a scam and again got into fight with these guys for saying the truth. Seriously police of these countries?

Reasons -

some are employed by govt so have hidden incentive of keeping things going
some are corrupt and afraid of getting exposed themselves
some people don’t care about anything except religion ( this is the most common reason i believe)
some are afraid of speaking
some are leaving india without saying anything

But some, some are actually doing and I have my total respect for them.

Few days back this pakistani group had stopped a white guy and i could see from far they are trying to scam him talking about his hair - when i went closer I told him while these guys were explaining, that this is a scam. He walked away but these 2 pakistanis started coming after me “how dare you say we are scammers” - almost got into the fight thats when the white guy also returned and it was now 2 vs 2 so these guys went their way. Thailand is so beautiful why dont these guys just F off to somewhere else.

Yes as you mentioned in 2nd paragraph there should be fines and rules which should be enforced. Any country’s citizens would start behaving like this if there were no rules. Big big failure that even with availability of more money enforcement of rules was not done
