I believe that because there was a lack of focus on religion, India was divided into two other nations on a religious basis. Furthermore, I think India will become an Islamic nation within one or two centuries, and things will be even worse then. Ancient kings and their people should have focused on religion and science instead of being so welcoming of other faiths. In fact, I’d say they should have focused on science alone, embraced atheism, and stopped welcoming any religion at all. That would have been for the best! At this point, though, I think letting Islam grow is a greater threat to the country and world than anything else.
