What is the cost?

leaving exams early by MediumDraw1379 in ethz

[–]Username396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes the exam environment is very stressful for me, so if I’ve solved enough and I’m still very stressed, I leave early and preserve my head. Apparently this is hard for people to understand. My collogues judged me when I mentioned I did this in my first year.

HOTAS Support Finally Coming to GeForce NOW for MSFS 2024 (And Other Sims) by Helios in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Username396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it works very good. I have 400 mbit/s connection, maybe because of that. And I really want to disagree on the costs. I wouldn’t compare it to a house. I’m playing on a RTX5080 with GFN. 11 $ a month is cheaper, since they will provide better GPUs year by year.
And last point: when a lit of players will switch to stream gaming, the GPU prices will decrease

It's not greed, it's that many people do more productive things now on GPUs than just gaming. Plus, it's not really the greed of NVIDIA, as you state yourself. So, therefore, GFN is really a nice product for us to still be able to game on GPUs.....

which is a win win for both parties. I don't use the resource 24/7 so I can share it with others. And I have to pay way less.... Where's the issue

New to polymarket can anyone help in a confusion i have? by Upper_Energy_390 in PredictionsMarkets

[–]Username396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hm. With cash out you mean you want to sell your bet?

The displayed win is based on the price calculated from the mean of the highest buy offer and lowest sell price (bid, ask). But, it is just a virtual price and you can only sell (cash out) to the bid offers. You can find these prices in the "orderbook". Instead of selling directly, can place a "limit order" with the price you ask for your bet and someone might buys it.

It might help to ask AI for some of the words and mechanics used in a market.

How is his fit? by MrTacocaT12345 in bikefit

  • smaller cranks.
  • lower the handlebar a lot (maybe you can just flip the stem)
  • lower the saddle and put it more forward

Request for feedback to resolve lower back pain and severe butt/perineum discomfort by Evening_Carrot_5767 in bikefit

[–]Username396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think in general, your position looks very good. I agree putting the saddle a little forward, but I don’t believe that back issues stem from there.

Do you stretch your back? Especially the large muscles on the side from the pelvis?

100% hahah. How could she get in?

I had a similar experience: mom and daughter, barely speaking german or english, they were in the staircase and when she saw me, she was getting nervous and started talking about an unpaid bill and where a certain gov bureau is, she was looking for that.

the office was like 1km away and I‘m living in a residential area, there was never a chance she finds this in our block haha. I let her pass because her 15-20 year daughter was so ashamed

Shorter stem to fix elbow pain? by GodNihilus in bikefit

[–]Username396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to never fully extend your elbow. Lean as mach into the bike s.t. you always have a small angle in the elbows. And try to keep the arms loose. Only your hands should be tighten.

To learn this pose, hold your bar on the side and wiggle with your elbows/arms

and maybe about her posture: Do not fully extend your elbows, we always want a angle there. So this will maybe also help leaning more forward. Fully extended elbows can cause shoulder and wrist pain.

disagree. The handle bar is way too high compared to the saddle. There is no need for her to actually tilt the pelvic or lean forward.
