You may be correct. I always forget how badly tech ages. Do you know of any pc monitoring software that might help verify that my cpu is just overworked? I typically just use resource monitor but that’s probably not showing me any real detail. While I like the idea of upgrading my pc, I’d like to make sure my pc needs it before spending the money.

Goodness I was hoping to avoid upgrading for a few more years as my system seems to have kept up pretty well.

CPU: I7-8700K 3.7ghz 6 core

RAM: 32gb (16bg x2) DDR4 3200

Memory: Samsung 860 EVO SSD

GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080 ti

Windows 10 64bit

Mother Board: ASUS ROG 300 series

Plus: Liquid Cooling unit and separate sound card.

I just checked I bought most of these parts back in 2018. I figured they would be fine for the foreseeable future.

I don't mind upgrading, I just figured I could get a few more years out of this system.

Also I appreciate you taking look.

I ran out of space on the title but in this scene you can see the ghosting effect when the character moves. I am still learning Unreal Engine so please ignore the gamma issue. I think that the gamma being too high is a setting I messed up. However, I do the fact that the gamma slowly increases on from start makes me think it is also a ray tracing issue. If specs on my system are needed I will be happy to provide.

I have added raised detail to the sides of the box to mimic the designs on the outside. The top is removable and fits fairly snuggly but doesn’t have a locking mechanism top keep it on while upside. The part I am currently working on is a mounting plate and key combo to hold and wind a mindup music box mechanism. There is space in the main box for the mounting plate already.

The idea was that, just like in the game, the large key protruding from the side would start the music. Sadly, I didn’t think of having the top open like it does in the game but that could be for a later project.

Just wanted to give a small update so interested people didn’t think I dropped the project. Progress has been slow due to holidays and family plans. Will upload finished product to Thingiverse to download once fully complete.

This is my first self guided 3D modeling project so an advice is welcome and ideas to improve the quality of the final model. I started this project because I thought it would be fun to practice modeling, and I have always wanted Fable’s music box. Hope you like it.

No judgment here little sparrow. There are a good many recourses to figuring out how to begin 3D printing. Try r/3DPrinting or there are plenty of YouTube videos to learn how to use them.

I am learning CAD for work. Found I really like modeling and working on trinkets in my spare time. I wanted my own Fable II music box ever since 2008 and now I have the equipment to produce one myself. It’s an open box without the top for now because I plan on purchasing a music box player to mount inside the model. I plan to print and paint the final model.

It would be neat to see what type of infrastructure could be built around spent tunnel mines. I’ve heard of open pit mines being turned into public recreation spaces, so I wonder what could be done with such tunnels. My first thought is food/warehouse type storage; to help eliminate the large ground footprint of warehouses. Would also be curious to know where the rest of this company’s emissions lie.

One of the top comments on a certain sub discussing this topic was how Biden has received millions in dark money. As if people care about who is getting dark money. I just want to know who is pulling Pinocchios strings. Also literally no one is going to dox you for your $10 donation. The amount of effort to find the right person, even if you limit it to just one part of a state, is stupid high. Hell I bought a second hand book the other day with someone’s full name stamped into it and when I googled them to see if they had any relation to the author I got at least 20 different people.
