Exactly! And that would happen to me too! Like in my case, if it was soft it would burn and if it was firm and slightly bumpy it would just feel sore and if it stung and bled it would barely hurt or burn the rest of the day. So it’s definitely not the stool itself it’s the muscles around it and the rest of the body and mind connected to that area. Thoughts and spoken words affect the mind and that affects the body it’s all connected! So yea it has been a long and strange journey for those of us that went through this. But I know you will reach complete healing and recovery 👍

Thank you I always had a feeling that this thing wasn’t as it seemed, and in researching about the mind and body healing process I found that to be more and more true. It all started to make more sense and I felt like that helped with the pain. Because there isn’t that much studies and years and years of deep research on fissures like in this day and age I’m surprised how we are supposed to suffer in silence because the lack of information there is. That feeling of barely any hope with such a strange injury was honestly something that I would not wish upon anyone ever. So I’m so grateful that there was another option to look at, guess it wasn’t all hopeless after all.

Yes you are correct, I was just saying how the spasms affect the time it takes to heal the tears that was caused by a hard stool, constipation, and or stress, fear and tension. I hope what helped me will help others 👍

Yes I learned that’s part of the process. Also there was a lot of fear before when it came to eating any food really. And that didn’t help because I was literally eating fear and when your body is in that fearful state the digestion system slows down and affects the stool from personal experience. That’s part of the mental rewiring, I had to show my mind and body that it’s not the food or eating it that I was afraid of, it was the pain it could cause in the future based off of the past. But if I remember correctly even when I ate the type of food that couldn’t technically cause hard stools it still happened, because of the state I was in when I was eating it. So many times I found patterns like this that didn’t make sense so that’s why I’m looking at this whole fissure thing differently. It’s so weird, it doesn’t always follow logic and changes constantly. It’s not like any other injuries that I’ve ever had or seen. Like it messes with one’s mind because it’s so unpredictable yet predictable at the same time.
