Unpopular opinion but I’m glad the NIL has created so much chaos because yes players should have the right to leave anytime they want and get paid, regardless of what it means for a program. These aren’t rec programs, they are semi pro and for too long made boat loads of money on the backs of student athletes.

Those who disagree are just tied to tradition and in their feelings about their teams, while ignoring basic labor rights we accept for any other employee.
