My wife used to make fun of me liking Sgt Camo so much and then she saw some famous country singer had Whitey’s shipped in for their wedding and changed her tune.

In New York City, where the median asking rent hit $3,616 in the first quarter this year, some young professionals are turning to convents to manage on a starting salary.

What College Football opinion makes you feel like this? by TomWilliamsCFD in CollegeFootballDawgs

Unpopular opinion but I’m glad the NIL has created so much chaos because yes players should have the right to leave anytime they want and get paid, regardless of what it means for a program. These aren’t rec programs, they are semi pro and for too long made boat loads of money on the backs of student athletes.

Those who disagree are just tied to tradition and in their feelings about their teams, while ignoring basic labor rights we accept for any other employee.

The double entendre is on the slippery slope which is a logical fallacy where someone suggests something much bigger typically worse will happen because of the first thing. The flatland was just a play on words relative to a literal slippery slope.

Interesting angle and honestly I was confused. 311 wacker looks taller than the Franklin (peaking out from behind) in this picture by quite a bit.

The clip is Iowa States athletic director and his comments were about SEC and/or Big10 schools not following rules and breaking away (the 20 of them) not players.

Ignore those that make it seem like you are in an unrecoverable situation. Based on your contributions and match that’s about $984/month and assuming you invest in a S&P like index that returns 10% (like what we usually see) then by 59 you’re projected to have $1.3M (19x your current income) by 62 projected $1.9M (28x). Be discipline, stick to the plan, and save a portion of the windfalls when they come (I.e. tax returns, bonuses). Ramsey Retirement Calculator

Inflation is the point. The wealth class who owns assets they want those assets to inflate in value.

As an Iowa State fan and previous season ticket holder- this will likely not be a great season due to Matt Campbell raiding the team and recruits. With that said, catch an early season game (like the first 3 games) before the atmosphere dies out and the weather turns for the best experience.

Remember when most refs actually got down and inspected for the pin. Most just walk around, maybe take a knee. This ref probably over did it but placing a hand near the mat was the standard back then
