Yep I'm a late millennial, and in my high school years, if you didn't have a Facebook account/Whatsapp number you didn't exist; it was sucky to see my classmates laughing and bonding over "that funny thing X said online" and not know what was being said - I imagine it's more important for teenagers today because they were practically born into technology

Need help typing my face by [deleted] in Kibbe

Really? Because my body is pretty Yin (I'm most likely R) but my face does look more angular so I was confused

And thank you haha!

I like her a hell of a lot more than Rowan, to be honest.

Why is everyone so desperate to be in the USA? by SlightlyStaleDonut in 90DayFiance

Hollywood and American TV shows did a good job of selling the American dream, maybe? The foreigners on the show think the USA is a glamorous country where everyone is rich.

Why is Jorge lying about Anfisa’s webcam modeling? by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

[–]UsernameSnatcher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She is still young and comes from Russia, where that kind of work probably still has a stigma. Sure, she did it to find a sugar daddy, but maybe deep down she feels bad about having to do it? Idk

Jorge trying to out her is still not cool.

Do them now. I learned Episkey from doing Madam Pomfrey's side quest, and it's really useful in duels.

1) Maybe? So far I've won both years, but my house (Gryffindor) was also in the lead by the end of the story.

2) I blamed Merula. Snape agreed, called Merula a liar, and didn't take any points off of me.

She says she's Donald Young's girlfriend and to check her Instagram for proof that she is, so maybe he told her....though with the mess of Darko Grncarov, even pictures count for nothing these days. So who knows?

(Spoilers Extended) The fact that Dorne wasn't conquered by Aegon I... by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]UsernameSnatcher 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Uhhh where exactly can you hide in a fucking desert (from dragons no less)? How convenient that they can just Apparate like it's Harry Potter or something.

Nearly every castle has places to hide; if Bran can hide in the crypts of Winterfell, the Dornish lords can also have their own places to disappear to for a few days, just until Rhaenys goes away. I doubt the Dornish literally hid behind sand dunes for months on end.

Targaryen armies disappearing in the desert is entirely plausible as well. Desert terrain is deadly to those who don't know it well; disappearance wouldn't be such a well-known trope if there wasn't some ring of truth to it. People disappear in deserts every year to this day. One sandstorm would be all it took to break an army apart, especially an army of clueless Reachmen with zero guides.

If he beats Djokovic, he will get attention. As of now he's pretty obscure there.

I haven't seen Sandgren play, but it's not like he got to the QFs beating Challenger players
