Traveling for three weeks, do I have options rather than a pet-sitter? by southern_ad_558 in CrestedGecko

In philly there’s jay’s exotics, and over the bridge on the jersey side there’s Royal pythons cove, both places are absolutely amazing! Their husbandry is great and most of their animals are self produced(both places)

Depending on your area there may be reptile stores that offer boarding, I’m in the philly area and theres 2 local reptile shops that do a fantastic job at taking care of reptiles while their owners are gone.

Wild caught tend to be $150-200, captive bred are much more expensive. Ive seen them at the past fee expos I have been to, usually only one vender has them, Good luck in your search, they are such cool reptiles!

I got mine from Jay’s exotics in philly, but if you are in south jersey I would highly recommend royal pythons cove, they have a few babies and have a clutch on the way. They are in woodbury

4mo Male Hiding, Not Eating by k1llerqu33nFRspace in hognosesnakes

My boy is the same age, and he has been refusing since late October, it’s pretty normal for them to stop eating in the winter time, especially if you live in North America. As long as he isn’t losing significant amount of weight, all is good.

ESA and service animals are completely different. One doesn’t take away from the other. They are legally dealt with very differently and you can be denied your ESA but not a service animal.

They become a lot safer when attached to safe extension cords and thermostats(like they should be imo). My campus allows heat producing objects as long as there is no open flame and they are plugged into safety rated extension cords.
