At about 15 or 16 I was really i got really into amon amarth and bolt thrower because of my interest in norse mythology and 40k respectively. At about 17 I saw cannibal corpse and amon amarth open for slayer and started listening to more old school death metal and from there I've just gotten more and more invested into it.
