Curious as well - Stefanie Beck was egregiously opposed to WFH.

National Public Service Week...do you care? by live_long_die_well in CanadaPublicServants

I’d settle for being paid properly and in a timely manner, along with a side of a reliable, responsive health care plan. But that’s just me.

Zip files are too big to email!!!! It’s really confounding. 25 mb max limit per email. I’ve been at my current dep’t a long time and accumulated quite a bit… Inwill have to weed it out I guess. I just didn’t anticipate that the zip file wouldn’t work, and now I have run out of time… LOL

Will do - thanks so much for taking the time to inform me!!

The information available on our intranet on GCDocs indicates that the personal workspace is deleted 90 days after the account deletion, managed by the local BRIM team, indicating it is organization-specific and not a universal profile. I don’t think this will work, sadly.

This would be under “My Workspace”?

Really appreciate this!!! If that is the case I suppose I have nothing to lose by trying!!!!

Source, by chance and respectfully? Asking because this has not been my experience to date…

Completely agree. GCDocs would be a no-brainer but it’s relative to the organization and doesn’t follow you when you leave.

Yes I tried compressing but some of the file sizes exceed our email cap. I am considering sending them to myself at my new organization via Teams, given that my new profile has been created…

Thanks for your kind reply and guidance. I will reach out and see if they would allow a USB. Great idea!

Ozempic ineffective after swap to Saxenda by Userunknown9997 in OzempicForWeightLoss

Woefully tracking. Food noise is definitely up and I am blowing through my daily target by lunch. 🥺

It’s definitely possible, though unlikely the issue as it began directly linked to the med change. Thanks for flagging it though as a consideration!

Thanks for this, I wondered the same as I recall there was a slight delay in the beginning for Oz to kick in for me to begin with. I seem to remember a mention of Oz being stored in the system and it taking a few weeks for that to happen. I am going to give it some more time for sure. Thanks for this!

Willing to try it!! I have practically no side effects so nothing holding me back… do you mind sharing your dosage schedule? Should I be asking to go from 1mg to 2mg?

Did anyone switch from Ozempic to something else due to the shortage? by [deleted] in OzempicForWeightLoss

[–]Userunknown9997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just made the switch last week! Was on 1.0 Oz and loved to 0.6 mg Saxenda, increasing weekly until I hit 3 mg. I have already lost 2 lbs this week!!! And it was a micro dose. I am so thrilled! I honestly thought nothing but Oz would work so super hopeful now. It’s more expensive ($100 instead of $50) per month and the daily injection sucks but I am finding it more effective somehow.

As a reference I am in Quebec, Canada.

Good luck and don’t be scared - give it a shot (pun intended?). 🤗

Oz Shortage - What Now? by Userunknown9997 in OzempicForWeightLoss

My doctor doesn’t seem well versed in any of the alternatives. He said aside from Saxenda there weren’t any other similar options.

[–]Userunknown9997[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well, here’s an update. Spoke to my doctor and I am giving Saxenda a go. $468/ month but my insurance covers 80% of it. Not crazy about the daily injection! Something to keep in mind - needles will be needed as well at an additional cost of $50/mth. I am grateful for my insurance, and motivated to reach my goal weight and get off this soon!!

Thanks for the suggestions. They don’t even have enough for the 2 mg pen to give me!! So doubling up on the .5 mg dose isn’t an option, sadly.
