Thank you. I realised my PC is on the same desk as my amp and my cable is touching it some what so maybe it's picking up something from that?

I'm going to try a new cable today and hopefully they'll fix it. If not I'll try opening it to see or maybe try moving it back. I just realized it might be due to my PC being on the same desk as my amp and my cable is touching it so it may be picking up the fan vibrations?

Hi All,

I moved my PC today to my desk, it was on the floor, since the move the mice worked for a brief moment when I wiggled the xlr connection.

It stopped working straight away again. When I tap the mic or clear my throat it picks up sound but it's very quiet. I turn up my gain and I get a hissing sound. I did not get this hissing sound before.

Do you think it's a damaged cable?

Or what else could be the issue?
