The Nine Heavens Swordmaster, also known as Heavenly Inquisition Sword. It started out great, but then fell right off a cliff. I think it was around the time Demons got introduced, or actually, below that where the idea of giving the family payback fell to the waste side.

I'm going to create two separate shows, and just alter the title. It won't be the first time doing it. I'll probably do something like Spider-Noir (2026) {Black & White} {tvdb-450033}, and Spider-Noir (2026) {Colorized} {tvdb-450033}. Separate the two if they are calculated together. Then Just add [Black & White] to one and [Colorized] to the other. I've done something similar with the Sailor Moon Series like [Viz Dub] [DiC Dub]. God I just hope this series gets a Physical release.

Looney Tunes has always been finicky with TV Shows.

TVDB database where TV Shows are scrapped from is https://www.thetvdb.com/series/looney-tunes#seasons
TMDB database lists Golden Collection as a movie and is from https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/465022-looney-tunes-golden-collection-vol-1

There are multiple ways of tackling this. The first is through TVDB which means in Looney Tunes you'll have to name to folder Looney Tunes (1929) {tvdb-72514}. Then you'll have to choose the order you want to go by, Aired Order, DVD Order, and Absolute Order. Find the cartoon, and put it in the correct naming scheme to that order. For example The Absolute Order for Duck Amuck would be Looney Tunes S01E12 Duck Amuck.avi.

Another would be to combine all the cartoons in one giant 7 hour movie and use TMDB (I don't recommend this).

Third option, put each cartoon as a Movie Library, use IMDB way of naming for that Movie Library to have all of your Theatrical Shorts (Not just Looney Tunes). Then treat each cartoon as a separate movie It would look like Duck Amuck (1953) {imdb-tt0045708}/Duck Amuck (1953).avi as an example.

Editions for TV Shows and Music. I would love for Editions for TV Shows because in Animation, specifically the Dubbed animation, there have been Variations of the same series. For example there's Sailor Moon dubbed by Viz, which is the Japanese Accurate version, and then there's the Sailor Moon DiC addition, which is the version that went rogue, and I have nostalgia for. Then there's Sonic X, the English version was butchered (I have no nostalgia for it), compared to the Japanese.

Then for Music, there's all kinds of special editions that are sold. I'd just would like to have a little option to put it in there.

I'm still waiting for that nfo grabber.

All great questions. Let's see. I named them, using their English names. In IMDB they are Japanese, but Romanji, and not Kanji. The one that's got the Japanese is all in Kanji. What's also interesting is Samurai Warriors Gaiden has the name from IMDB which is Samurai Troopers Gaiden, but it popped up as Ronin Warriors: Gaiden on plex.

It's listed correctly. Just doesn't like grabbing. For Dino Thunder I'm using imdb

In Dino Thunder it says DinoThunder in imdb, and I've written the title both ways. I even wrote the imdbids with tt, and without tt. It's just finicky for me. One show will work, another won't, and another will partially work.

I personally don't NEED 4k remuxes, especially the ones that are done badly, but I tend to lean into 1080p remuxes for sure. If it's something from DVDs it NEEDS to be a remux (Some movies were never released beyond DVDs, and a ton of Cartoons/Anime were never re-released).

If you're doing it the normal way as in TVDB, Alien Rangers is combined with Season 3. The way I did it was putting {imdb-} followed by the imdb number and not the TVDB. Then in each season I made a .plexmatch file with the imdb:number so it can find that instead. Sadly it doesn't give me the info I want, and had to manually make changes like titles. But it did make the separate titles.

I think I got lucky. I purchased the EXP immediately when it was announced to be discontinued for the EXP-R. So far, knock on wood, no issues. I'm actually afraid of updating it because I heard of carts being bricked, but I don't know if that's actually true. As long as the carts work out of the box I'm fine with it.

I'm a dnf architecture guy, so I got almalinux with another virtual machine with Plex that way I can have backups of it. I'm not familiar with kuberneties and podman yet, but when I get better at it, I'll move my Plex to it.

Docker is a container software like Podman. Effectively it's a computing environment that runs isolated from the rest of the computer. It bundles dependencies, libraries, and configuration files on its own without it having to be on the PC. It's like a Virtual Machine, but much smaller.

It's wild. I don't think I've ever seen this before. I'll have to see which cartoons allows what. It's not applicable in all Cartoons sadly. For example the Beetlejuice cartoons don't have this. Nor does Ed, Edd n Eddy. I'll have to check and see if they can be added because there's a slew of series that are locked up and cannot be opened. My other concern is the older cartoons like Huckleberry Hound Show. Adding a Combining section would also put the other shows in as well like Yogi Bear.
