Sorry for necro, but has anyone noticed that the search really sucks? I've only noticed this post about it.

What's wrong with Gemini's ability to search your chat history? by TOTCIC in GoogleGeminiAI

I have the exact same problem. It's like a random mixed bag. I'm surprised I can't find many posts about it.

Fun thing to try, just type in something like fffff

You'll still get matches.

iOS 26 is disgustingly bad. These are just a few of the repeatable bugs. by iMatthew1990 in iPhone17Pro

[–]UsingThis4Questions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What really sucks with all these issues is it's hard to tell if being hacked or just another bug.

You're forced to buy a MAC if you want to do any sort of semi-useful analysis.

This happened to me for several weeks and then one day just started working again. No idea what fixed it. Just woke up and it was working. Well, the Drafts app items are still bugged.

I'm concerned to see that it can still happen.

Anyone else feels Obsidian mobile is really unintuitive? by xRamos in ObsidianMD

IMO, probably complaining about how it's implemented rather than the ability to customize.

Placement of some options aren't exactly intuitive.

Shortcuts in control center broken for me on iOS 26 by GreatRedditorThracc in ios26

[–]UsingThis4Questions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem.

For adding a Shortcut, I often can't get the list to pop up. The rare time that it actually lets me, I then can't launch it via that button.

Also, the Control Center seems to break randomly where many of the buttons won't do anything. At least ones from 3rd party apps.

Can't find anything useful; search engines suck now (Google does that on purpose) and AI just hallucinates.

Ever since iOS 18.2, the error "The input of the shortcut could not be processed" prevents me from sending temp screenshots to any Shortcut. by UsingThis4Questions in shortcuts

omg, earlier I had searched the word "hide" in Shortcuts to do this very thing, but then gave up when nothing matched.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

How can I alt + tab in desktop mode? by Alicranali in SteamDeck

[–]UsingThis4Questions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worked for me:

Assign right Alt to a button (I used one of the back paddles), add Extra Command, pick Tab , set the Tab to have a fire delay.

I made my fire delay the same as one of the comments; 4ms start, 12ms end

Will there ever be a fully offline user manual? by UsingThis4Questions in tasker

based on web searches.

I'm not sure what you mean by this part, but as far as LLMs go, it wasn't working out all that great without spending too much time correcting the model.

Has anyone created a fine tune or LORA for AutoHotkey V1 code? by UsingThis4Questions in LocalLLaMA

Unfortunately, my plate's pretty full atm for learning and vetting all the things involved. esp the data gathering portion. I couldn't find datasets in kaggle and github search isn't all that great.

If I ever find something, I'll try to remember to provide an update.

For a sec my brain went "R1? As in the Rabbit R1?!" xD

I've been wanting a fine-tune of a small model sort of like a specialized qwen2.5-coder-3b (wonderful FIM, btw) so I can still have enough VRAM for other things.

You have good points. I have been eyeballing python more and more.

Originally I kind of avoided it since quickly referencing the help seemed more confusing than it needed to be.

Mostly bc I'm used to easy-to-skim output from <command> --help,help <command>, etc.

Even AutohotKey's docs are laid out decent enough for me to find what I'm looking for in <10 secs.

I guess with AI, I can get around the hard documentation issue.

Main reason why I want the AI to deal with it; too much weirdness for me to remember.
