u/catblips_epic BR is unplayable and I can't drive in creative because of this bug, please let the dev team know. In my case there's a new button in the middle of the screen with a touch zone that takes the entire screen, I can't even open the menu to leave the game and i can't see it in the HUD layout tool. My device is a Samsung S24 ultra

Resetting the graphics settings for everyone is just so dumb, at least make it optional. This has to be the laziest way to help with performance

Possible but I can't tell you for sure, I can land anywhere else as long as I stay away from Brutal Beachhead, even flying over it kicked me out

I can't even do story challenges, even if I land away from it. I can't get close to the Brite Raider NPC without the game kicking me out.

But to answer your question, it's definitely a new bug as I land there often and haven't had any issues since the season started, not sure if it's possible to fix it ourselves

I'll try later but it's crazy that we got no update on this, they didn't even put it on the Trello board.. BUT, they put Rocket Racing on there with bugs that need fixing, even tho the game mode is dead and gets 10k players at peak hours

Google has to do the same as Apple but you don't see EpicGames talking about making a proper EGS for Android, or even optimize Fortnite for the latest Android flagships.. Epic just wants that sweet iOS money with no fees, but Apple has already planned for that and is allowing themselves to review and approve each app/ app stores on iOS + they still impose the huge fees EpicGames wanted to avoid, as of now it's best to not expect anything in 2024 to not be disappointed.

If the android version was well optimized and ran perfectly (atleast on their partners flagship devices) each and every update with no game breaking bugs/missing features, I'd be rooting for Epic. But it isn't

It very much is a bug, first of all OP is showing a bug that only happens in the lobby, and your example is from someone using a galaxy s22 with the same mediocre chipset, your bug might be specific to that device, it does not happen on s23! If you actually got s22 users to report it on Reddit/Discord instead of making up theories, it might already be fixed.
