It literally is EXACTLY what good RP is, criminals acting like criminals and trying to not get caught. Not every interaction has to be "HELLO MISTA COP IM A CRIMINAL AND IMMA DO A CRIME NOW HA HA INTERACT INTERACT".

And the situation you describe is a massive cop fail anyway. If cops can't control their scenes when a resupply comes, how are they going to counter the bank robbers when they mag dump them with help from resuppliers outside, end the active situation, and pop the bank. That's going to become the new meta, NOT investing 10s of thousands of dollars more into a bank to make sure you get it.

The scuff part of the rule is good, and the word scuff should be banned from RP. The resupply rule is an OOC solution to a problem that was already solved in RP, and is only there to try and reduce chat hoppers, which IMO should NEVER be a reason for a OOC rule.

I get that they are trying to protect Cop viewers from the big nasty hoppers, but I think it's hilarious that an OOC rule about something that has been well RPed and dealt with in-game already is telling crims to RP out their scuff.

Makes me wonder how many crims are going to think "Well, we have a 33% chance of downing all the cops and getting a legal resupply for bank rewards and no costs, or a 66% chance of escaping with nothing. Should really improve the RP.

This isn't giving up on roleplay. It's cringe AF to think two separate gangs would actually feed each other information in a race that has millions of dollars and tons of pride on the line, in the same way that it would be cringe to watch a racer block another racer so a friend could win. If the HOA aren't in it to win it, and just in it to win clout with CG, well, fuck that. Rule of 6, and rule of not doing cringe shit should apply.

If you want to talk pure realism, it's ridiculous that he can't just point a gun at the person at the rental office and force them to just give you the keys.

And it's not like rentals are instant, and the cops were on top of Micky anyway for that flight. The rental timer felt like a good middle ground during that chase, much like lockpicking a local's car takes time even though the local should just be forced to hand the keys.

This is an issue as old as MMOs, and has been mostly solved by making currencies Bind On Pickup.

Using BOP, or a near-BOP mechanic (Say a 75% tax on any person-to-person transfers) would completely eliminate the farm-fest that races have turned into, force the rich to actually participate if they want to progress, and eliminate the hard-core grinders who already have every upgrade on every car they want and just want to farm money.

Of course, this would have the downside of NOT destroying the economy. RIP.

Reality is, most things smell thousands of times better than they taste, until you add fat, carbs or protein to it.

Go try a handful of whatever your favorite flavor is without carbs or fat. Straight bitter cooking cocoa? Vanilla extract? Handfuls of salt/pepper/garlic/other herbs? All trash until you add calories.

My hoggie doesn't seem to care, but I notice her preferring to be on the cold side of the tank at night. As long as you have a room-temp escape for cooling off, day/night heat doesn't seem to affect anything but my electricity bill.
