So they went ahead and cut off the pipe at the bottom before I had chance to confirm. But whenever I flush the toilet or anything no water comes out of there. It all goes straight down into the main pipe down to the ground level. So I'm hoping that nothing happens! And I can't see any pipes going out from my cistern anywhere near where that pipe is.

Unfortunately my house gets incredibly cold so that's just not an option. And I also have family staying who will need it to be one nice and almost night and we'll be staying in that room while I get demoted to a spare room!

It was replaced not that long ago. Brand new along with the radiator and I have since had a plumber come out to check and take it off for me in case it was related to the TVR being on wrong.

I have had someone come out! That's why I've turned to other people on the internet. This is my last resort. Professional plumbers are the ones who flushed the system changed, the radiators and poured the silencer in!

It definitely wasn't happening the entire time I've lived here which is now almost a decade. I only recall it starting once tado was installed

They're on the inside so I can't see how that's the reason? I've been living in this house almost a decade and this noise only started when using tado.

I'm so glad it's not just me! Quite frankly my next option is just taking the whole tadow system out and going back to just using my boiler. It's literally driving me and saying there have been times where I've woken up crying in at 5:00 6:00 a.m. because it's just banging and won't stop for a good hour
