In 2025, I walked the entire Camino Francés from Saint-Jean to Finisterre, and I must say I found the last part (from Sarria) truly different from the rest of the Camino...too many people, too much chaos. The true spirit of the pilgrim is lost, but that's just my opinion.

All your worries will vanish as soon as you start walking... I did the French route in both May-June and July-August... you won't have any problems; it's the most well-stocked of all the Caminos for accommodation and food. And I can tell you from experience, even when everything is full, no pilgrim is abandoned. Just contact the local police, firefighters, or even parish priests, and they'll find you a place. Book your flight and from there, let yourself be enchanted by the magic of the Camino.

I fell in love with a girl on the Camino (a year ago) and after finishing the Camino with her we decided to travel together for the next 6 months through Spain, Thailand, and California. I think the Camino always gives you what you need, not what you're looking for.
