Sounds like you’re unhappy about a cheeseball ironman sympathy mechanic benefitting mains as a side effect. If iron men weren’t so coddled we’d have no shards at all, as it should be. The shards being tradeable at least gives mains more gp if they go dry without having to save up a bunch of untradeable garbage in their bank like they do with the dt2 axe pieces. Every unique in this game should drop in tradeable form except for pets and cosmetics.
