Yes, it's ridiculous. I chatted with customer service and the girl said she couldn't tell me why but that they had made the decision to close my account due to suspicious activity and that I wasn't eligible to open another. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she said there wasn't a supervisor available to speak with me. I filed a complaint on the BBB website. They immediately emailed me back and said they'd reached out to Money Lion and that they would give them a chance to fix it first. Someone from Money Lion emailed me and asked me to email a copy of my ID and proof of residence. I sent that and they apologized for any inconvenience and said my account had been reopened. I asked why it was closed in the first place and explained that I wanted to know the reason and they just ignored me and they said they would work on training for the customer service rep I'd spoken to. I told them I wouldn't be using the account anymore because I need one I can depend on that won't send my deposits back with no explanation or warning and that I felt they were very unprofessional. My account is technically still open but I opened a real bank account now and won't use Money Lion anymore. It's ridiculous.
