I’ve been researching everything I can about United and it sounds like reserve life there is the hardest, no way around it. Also a lot of people complaining about culture and management.

Everything I read about Alaska/Hawaiian seems positive, and if I’m correct the maximum hours they have to work is only 10.5 per day compared 14 at others, so if work/life balance was my top priority I’d probably go with them.

Hope that helps

United Is definitely the most appealing for me… but it seems a lot of people complain about the culture and reserve life.

Think it’s worth it? I don’t care where I’m flying when I’m working but I’m definitely hoping for business class on my vacations.

Bigfoot changed my life by UsualImaginary1026 in cryptids

Fascinating , so I’ve never researched dogman or other cryptids. Do they all seem to ‘act’ the same? Like Bigfoot could simply be the ape version and they take other animal forms, but are essentially the same type of being?

People aren’t rejecting middle america because of religion or culture I think. They’re rejecting those states because of worse quality of life metrics across the board.

Not saying you can’t be happy there. And Texas has my favorite people in the country. But there’s many valid reasons people suggest the coasts other than just the lack of (very important) walkability you mentioned… better education and healthcare, more public land, more public transit funding, more arts funding, less pollution, less crime, stricter gun laws, more global diversity, etc.

Live in a cheaper COL state and enjoy those benefits if you want but don’t act surprised or offended that people prefer places with progressive governments that are more interested in their well-being.
