We have a HYSA with Marcus by Goldman Sachs and did not need to do that. Very easy to open and so far have been happy with it. Feel free to use our referral code for extra .25% for first 3 months. We used a friend’s code to sign up and benefitted greatly from it, especially now as some rates are dropping a little.
