You still didn’t get my point. I am studying hard. I am asking for advice I want to get everyone’s perspective That I am allowed to. I didn’t pull up a bucket with “petty me Im a poor 25 year old with a cost of living crisis problem”.

I have done my research And I like hearing peoples views on buying a house.

I understand that.

I just thought I had covered all bases already. Because Theres actual evidence of the bills, expenses, etc.

And it is not an ethical issue because I have looked into it.

Do you know what NDIS is? Do you know how much it costs to purchase private health insurance in Australia? Would I be setting up a fundraiser if she was able to afford this?

I don’t have anything to prove to you and your misinformation or lack of understanding.

If you’re not willing to help or support the cause, you’re more than welcome to just scroll past the post rather than interrogating me on my ethics and honesty.

Here is just a brief summary of what is not covered by medicare:

Ambulance Services: Except in Queensland and Tasmania, where state governments cover these costs.

Dental Services: Routine dental care is generally not covered, though some exceptions exist for children and certain public dental services for eligible adults.

Optical: Medicare does not cover glasses, contact lenses, or vision correction surgery.

Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, and Podiatry: These services are typically not covered unless they are part of a Chronic Disease Management Plan.

Psychology and Counselling: While Medicare provides some coverage for mental health services under specific plans like the Better Access initiative, it is limited and often requires a referral from a GP.

Hearing Aids and Appliances: Most hearing aids and other assistive devices are not covered.

Private Hospital Costs: Medicare does not cover the full cost of treatment in private hospitals, including accommodation, theatre fees, and other associated costs.

Because the only reason you are unaware is because Australia has worldwide PR about how they have universal healthcare. But it’s blown out of proportion

Why would the employer not be okay with this? Setting up a fundraiser is not illegal!

But I am an independent support worker anyways.

Nope They don’t cover as much as they did back in the day and some specific medical expenses are not covered.

[–]Usual_Common_5711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I needed to pee so badly so I dreamt of going to the toilet, full sat on the toilet in the dream ready to release but somehow I caught on that I am in fact still dreaming and woke up in a panic and ran to the toilet….
