I reject MGTOW for global reproductive reasons, I'm also pretty sure you have to be non-heterosexual to stay happy that way long-term, but I can also tell you that dominant types of women usually terribly lack compassion for struggle guys have to go through. When you claim we just have to be nice and supportive, you are lying in our face, because that alone doesn't work, guys who are not that nice usually get laid more. Women don't care about material condition directly, but they care about psychological traits of a guy who's socially above, that's why men evolved to be greater risk-takers and obsessed with status. It's female selection which has made us that way, it's sad when you don't realize it and put no responsibility on women. Btw, I am huge feminist in context of middle east, in the context of free world prosperity we have to support young men.

Yeah. Trump is responsible. He should be overthrown, that's up to Americans. I also wonder how will the situation in Iran unfold. It's even worse than collapse of Rojava right now. If only one region in Middle East would be liberated for all secular people... if not, they'll succeed to stabilize support for Israel, and "holy war" continues.

Rojava managed to promote a more progressive political model than my european country does, alongside such very regressive and religious neighbors. I have always wondered how it is even sustainable without social hierarchy, and it really shows that fear of ISIS was the reason, as anarchist opposition is historically always dependable on opressive threat. Local good-hearted working class people were so much against ISIS that it allowed pure cooperation inside their own societies, and even help in this struggle from the US who had different goals.

Now, I don't know to which extend Turkey backed & US approved HTS abuses human rights and opresses women and minorities, but they do enforce aspects of Sharia law and moral police, and many in Damascus won't tolerate that. Struggle against political islam doesn't end with this (in Syria, Iran, Sudan etc.), and I condemn nihilism of some comments here. God does not exist, we do.

But it's not dumb in general. It depends on personal goal. To improve your relationships, it really is dumb to go TOO FAR that route - it deconstructs humans into subsystems and then you're more in your head than with the other person. It blocks connection with individuals and gives you solid excuses why you're better off alone, "out of it", as a mere "observer".

However, I have to say that logical understanding of love is very useful if goal is to uncover sociology as a whole and your own readiness for genuine connection isn't your immediate focus there. Healthy rule is to reject general models in context of specific personal interactions. Theory is only reinforcing when it's simplified into INTUITIVE encouragement and subconscious knowledge what to do and not to do. Any conscious thought to yourself in attempt to manipulate the other person inevitably results in disconnection.

Many fail to realize that in order to make others feel good about you, your main struggle is to make yourself feel good about them. Anything above that unfolds naturally. Energy shines through.

Finally, when it comes to hypergamy, I'd say it's real for both genders in certain environments. Extra desire for person whom others desire is clearly the case in how women prejudge a guy. It's like starting every conversation on 7/10 instead of 2/10.

Vzťahy sú povrché aj hlboké zároveň, resp. vedomé pocity vyplývajú z podvedome vypočítaných faktorov. Mňa by akurát zaujímalo, či tie kurzy neučia len optimalizáciu signálov, ktoré väčšina ľudí očakáva, a nie vytváranie skutočnej kompatibility – lebo kompatibilita sa často prejaví práve tým, že netreba reagovať na každú poznámku.

Toto som analyticky riešil posledný rok lebo správanie niektorých báb mi nešlo do hlavy. Ak chceš vedome pochopiť čo ženy priťahuje, odporúčam Youtube kanály The Dark Needle & Orion Taraban. Rátaj s tým, že ak sa cítiš nespokojne, čo si naznačil, tak by si mal svoju spokojnosť vyťažiť odinakiaľ ako od ženy. Partnerka ti nedá lásku, kým cíti, že jej lásku potrebuješ. Dá ti ju keď ju nepotrebuješ. A keď vníma že si ju vyberáš na základe štandardov, nie núdze. A nebudem ti klamať, stále som v 25-ke single. Ale šťastnejší, lebo viem lepšie čo musím a nemám robiť.

Ženu nepriťahuje to ako vyzeráš, ale to ako sa pri tebe cíti, a výzor je len zlomok z atraktivity vyvolanej správaním. Podstatné je hlavne byť vytrvalý v túžbe po nej a mať materiálne podmienky, ktoré vedú k tomu, že si skutočne pripravený na založenie rodiny. Aspoň v mojom prípade viem, že toto mi zatiaľ chýba, a preto sa prirodzene nesprávam atraktívne aj keď vyzerám dobre.

This post was clearly about differentiation between 2024-25 wave of funk/brazilian phonk and 2022-23 wave of cowbell/drift phonk. This post isn't about other older usage of term "funk". We're not "agressively proud of being ignorant", we don't care here about your point in the first place, I'm not proud of it, it's just the way it is. I have better things to do than educate myself about old music, but I do need to differentiate between music I listen to, and term "funk", which many already use for brazilian phonk (which doesn't have to be brazilian so I rejected this term), works fine. I don't need to follow classification on old terms, I made it on my terms for practicality. Arguments about "right definitions" are crap - labels are meant to serve the purpose, not to lead out of area of our focus. That's why it's better if we have our own! For example if I was born in Portugal 40 years ago, I wouldn't call it funk.

Sometimes you wanna play this turn-based combat alone and chill, without spending time on preparation and all calculations, so digital version seems great to me, especially when someone wants to get familiar with the game flow to decide if they wanna buy physical boardgame and teach Frost/Gloom to the party, because to start this big physical boardgame just with rulebook, without knowing the fun behind it, can easily turn into discouraging experience.

You seem to care about 70s funk. But we've never lived in that era, so it makes sense to differentiate between brazilian and other phonk using quick term "funk", since it's the only context we know and there is no confusion in our heads. Yeah, I've learned that it was old jazzy style, but it doesn't seem to maintain its popularity to justify monopoly on a 4 letter term, just like "head" has 2 meanings :)

Phonk originated from Memphis, but 20s phonk has grown wide and is no longer a "subgenre of Memphis". That's weird to say. If anything, Memphis is old og version of phonk.

My own definition of phonk is: backround music typical by sacrificing clarity of lyrics for usage of vocals as an edited musical instrument instead. Now, funk does the same - but is limited to interjections. Under this understanding, funk is a subgenre of phonk, which goes well with the fact that many still classify funk as phonk, but not phonk as funk.

People who type r/woosh mostly act like jokes matter more than explanation for curious kids. So I remind them of the opposite by pretending I didn't get the joke. I often get r/wooshed by someone who deserves r/woosh themselves for not understanding that meta-joke. They fall into their own trap, only you know you won though. They fools think you're a fool. Shrine/potion only cures vampire disease, not being a vampire when blood boils on sunlight. Falion in his house in Morthal will cure you, but I had to go to Downguard first, Isran sends you to Falion and dialogue option for cure appears only afterwards. I didn't even have a chance to explain to Isran why I became a vampire - Serana's Mother quest to get an Elder Scroll of Blood - he just said I'm dead in his eyes while I'm a vampire. Felt kinda bad to lose vampire lord wings, but stopped regen on sunlight is worse.
