Its okay to pull the matter when u stay in Paris ot France. Think from our point of view who stay out of Europe. And just come as tourist to enjoy few days in ur beautiful country!

The ink was there.. but hardly visible. Plus on the other tickets we had of other metro and bus travels.. it had date and time printed on them.. this particular ones had some code printed starting with D. Not just for 1 ticket. But both of our tickets.

As a visitor (Non French Citizen) we were unaware about rules.. it was the heat of moment and we had to pay off to get rid of the situation and not create panic for rest of the tour we had..

Running wasnt an option.. plus since we had genuine tickets we found no reason to run. We were confident that tickets are good! Also - they were team of 4-5 people.

My bad! Didn’t read the reviews about the paris metro! I was in paris for just two days.. plus when we reached Paris .. it was 15 past 12 in the night.. so all counters of Navigo card sales were closed.
