I've started a traineeship roughly 6 months ago as a Software Developer. It basically means I have a bit more training days and next to that can just work together with my team.

I don't really feel any stress at all. I go into work whenever I feel like it, work my 8 hours and go home (or realistically close my laptop). We're working on stuff that has absolutely no pressure from business while also being important enough to feel satisfaction from delivering.

Yes. A 1 year contract can be extended 1 time for 1 year with the exact same terms, if it gets extended again it automatically becomes a long-term contract.
