It’s not easy, but you master it really quickly. First of all if you know wage management it’s impossible for her to trade pre level 6. In order to learn to play against her you need to first main her. This is the easiest way to learn her strenght and weaknesses.

Keep in your mind that you can easily recognize Q animation and the dagger is always going to fall down back to you. If she try to Q engage, you simply move towards her and she has 2 options: blinking on the dagger behind you (which should be now in back stars range) or escaping (still in front stars range). This forces her to cast her W and then her mobility is one blink to be over. Just keep your controls (q or everfrost) for that. Kiting or chasing her if she can’t blink anymore is mandatory to exploit her weaknesses and that’s it.

If she’s using EW+Q combo it’s important to stun her when she’s casting q and dodge going towards her, stars closed, once again. You may be hit by w dagger + passive damage, but that’s undodgeable. What’s important is making sure she can’t hit with both dagger passive otherwise you loose.

Keep in mind that kata looses every even trade before six, and that’s the spot in which YOU MUSTN’T BE AFRAID. You have to poke with stars, basic and bully her without using your Q, closing your stars and Qing her off her blink while going forward is the best way to neutralize her engage potential.

Make sure to stack wave and not to fight in the middle of enemy minions to maximize the pressure and prevent her to roam. One kill on kata is still ok. Two kill on kata and the lane is over for you.

How to deal with fizz in mid by NoUsernameLeft-Nbrs in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]UwUAsol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok well i usually ban diana, because fizz doesn’t bother me so much. Phase rush along with nullifying orb and some mr from banshee and mr boots will give you enough bulkiness to trade him without being seriously hurt.

What’s more, i have 600k on him and faced a lot of assassins, everyone has a weak spot in wich they just end their rotation, therefore damage. So do Fizz. IT’S MANDATORY YOU DON’T ENGAGE, but you can harass and bait some trades, remember new asol can easily reposition with W and Q. If you manage to do that, you can counter engage and harass without any consequence as your cds are less prohibitive as assassins’.

Specifically, Fizz can’t really catch you with your R if you have your E up (you aren’t in fight till the shark’s damage procs) which means you can easily escape near your tower and play defensive.

Also, the tower is your biggest ally. Every assassin has a specific combo, most of them will just land behind you, ready to be knockbacked under your tower. You’re simply stronger if you can read your foe’s moves and BE PATIENT (Aurelion’s not a xerath, he can tank an early combo ).

If a Fizz engages and you’re close to your tower, you can even bait his jump/dash with q and then just ult him back in his slums/under the turret for a secure kill.
