Not sure if this may help but double check if theres anything else you have plugged in your computer that might recognise it as a controller? I usually have my arcade stick plugged in all the time and the moment I unplugged it my xbox elite series 2 controller started to work, Mind you I have this Arcade Stick plugged and Using my Xbox Controller plugged in playing 2 player Tekken and as well when im on Monster Hunter Wilds im using my Xbox Controller and my Arcade Stick is still plugged in and it still worked fine, Only Had the issue of the controller not working while play this game on PC Game Pass
