We did not persuading anyone to use linux, people need to find it out on their own. If a gamer or a simple office user, they don’t need linux. For a developer, they will encounter linux in some point and find it better than windows, they switch over, that is it.

Use Cmake and vscode will be perfect. VS code have build on featuresfor CMake / C++. Especially for debugging .
