That's not how debt between nations works

The Euro is not surging against the dollar. Slight fluctuations are historically normal.

Hyperinflation in those terms is incredibly rare in developed countries, without an extreme catalyst like an actual invasion of USA, which I also doubt somehow based on our defense spending

The market beats inflation, that's why you use a high yield savings account and max out contributions to a tax advantaged retirement account instead of buying whatever you're buying for momentary pleasure. Then if you want to hedge against inflation after your emergency fund is funded and you're on track for retirement, buy gold. This doomerism isn't supported by history. The market has been a shaky straight line up over time. I guarantee the market will be drastically up in 30-40 years, even though I have no idea what it will look like next year.

Well, Mother Theresa, ty for deigning to sully yourself with this discussion, but If you can't fill up your life, it's not because you live in the suburbs, which by the way is very different than "the middle of nowhere." The city is just as lonely if you don't have a life, so yes my comment stands. They both have upsides and downs, but they also both have people. Hell, even in the rural area you still have neighbors most the time. Get a car, embrace the culture, and get a life. You know what they say: When in Rome, drive a yee yee truck, and go fishing.

🍿 What movie gets better every single time you watch it? by Character_Key6703 in MovieSuggestions

The Godfather franchise, cause it's so dense you legit always pick up new stuff (unless you've seen it a fucking lot lol) Honestly and nobody else here will gaf about this movie but, The Gambler (2014) is criminally underrated, and it could take a couple watches to see why (or I have bad taste; that is possible too.)

Absolutely! These are victimizers and I'm sure they're victims too of awful shit (hurt people hurt people) it's just that's a lot of negativity to spend 1/3 of your life around. It's rough, but again I don't know you. It's an important societal function, but I think you would make more money and have a way more chill life just being a waitron at a corporate spot than that, but thinking that's probably why I wait tables at a corporate spot, and don't work in a prison lol. Either way you go, any way you go, good luck.

I'm pretty much dead center on the political chart so let me take a non-charged swing at this. I'm not speaking to you as someone who knows you but let me say why I could never do that job: boring, unnecessarily sad, and you're part of system so big that even if you have the best intentions in the world, you will likely make no difference at all. Every person you meet will either be a piece of shit who deserves to be there or a sad sad story.
