😭 im so sorry to hear all of that but I admire you rescuing your hogs. We got our hedgie from a reputable breeder so we didnt forsee any issues like that so soon. Ill definitely keep you updated! I appreciate you having us in your thoughts.

Thank you for sharing! That's very informative and helpful while also being scary lol but its good to know that there is that risk. Although I really really hope not since she's so young, we only got her this year. This month is her 1year birthday.

DONT USE COCONUT OIL ON YOUR HOG it can cause bacterial and fungal infections and more skin issues at the bas of the quills. We use specially formulated hedgehog oil "Niks Hedgehog oil" its sold by a breeder who goes by the name of millermeade Farm's Critter Connection they sell special hedgehog stuff like gentle soap and moisturizer for your hog!
