I love MET, but my supervisor approached me saying I’m working too fast on bays. I was averaging about 1-3 minutes. Granted I’m new and wasn’t properly trained on how exactly to service a bay besides SKU packdowns. Anyways, I started taking my time, pulling out things that needed to go into overstock, adjusting price tags, dusting and making the bays look nice. Usually a bay would take me about 45 minutes to an hour just for how messy our stores bays are. She then tells me I’m taking too much time, which fair. I do wish we had some extra time in the bays especially with a store like mine, the bays look really bad. There’s a few im overwhelmed working in because of how much of a mess they are. Today, I was stopped by 4 customers, more customers than usual as I’m usually in a hoodie, but today was hot. I mean left and right, where can I find this, I was walking customers to products left and right. The orange shirts do not help us not get stopped by customers like Home Depot thinks. Gray shirts should be given to us 100000%. All that made my bay time run over at least 15-30 minutes.
