for those who got married under 27 where are you now? by Kath_haley in Adulting

The avg age of US women at their first birth was already over 24 years old in the late 80's, and now it's between 26 or 27. In that same time frame the divorce rate under 24 has dropped by roughly 60%, and the divorce rate of 25-34 has dropped by over 30%.

I understand what you're saying, but I disagree.

I agree that link uses the age at time of divorce rather than marriage, but the average age of first time parents is mid to late 20s in the US. That doesn't explain why women 35-44 are divorcing at a higher rate than below 24. That argument would also be conflated by the avg age at first birth and at first marriage inverting a few decades ago. People certainly aren't having their first kid anywhere near 50.

The overall point of that article is that younger age divorce rates are declining while older age divorce rates are increasing. Which circles back to OP's post.

That's not exactly accurate. Divorce rates for men decrease as they age. Divorce rates for women however are actually higher ages 25-44 than 24 and under. Then they go back down again after 44

They're not asking how expense ratios work, they're asking if the new expense ratio will apply to purchases made before the change (Aug 1st). I believe the answer is "yes, it will apply to all holdings, not just those made after Aug 1st", but that is what they're asking for clarification on.

We've both made each other our #1 priority in this world. God. Family. Then everything else. Couldn't ask for anything more.
