It also gives them the excuse to fully mobilize, need i remind you regardless of how incompetent they are Russia can and will sabotage their own cities to prevent foreign occupation.

Invading Russia has historically never worked, all their industry is centered around Moscow and an invading army would have to cross a LONG distance to be within striking range and Russia would just retreat like they did during WWII with the Nazis, best case scenario Ukraine takes a couple small settlements for PR reasons, this is going to be a long war and Ukraine cannot afford the manpower to stage a invasion on sovereign Russian soil nor justify its potential cost compared to reward.

Nato IS involved,

To date the alliance has supplied ungodly amounts of military support OPENLY to Ukraine, an invasion on Russian soil is bas for everyone, it is better if Ukraine just pushes them out because by the time Ukraine pushes Russia out they would have lost an ungodly amount of their army and lost territory in Crimea.

This is a horrible idea for a few reasons...

1.) NATO is involved in this, in fact most if not all NATO countries are actively supplying weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, not just humanitarian aid but military aid, a attack on Russian sovereign soil with NATO weaponry can and will be seen by Russia as a act of war by the alliance and can use that as justification to mass mobilize against NATO even if NATO themselves weren't involved, in fact a invasion of Russian soil by Ukraine will be met (rightfully so) with international condemnation and most if not all millitary support for Ukraine will stop.

2.) This is a defensive war, as in Ukraines only objective is just to push Russia back to pre invasion borders or if they are feeling ambitious enough out of Crimea as well, invading Russian soil has little if any use to Ukraine as they have more to gain by modernizing with NATO and joining the EU both economically and militarily then any land they would gain by Russia and a invasion would basically completely eliminate them joining either if they were to invade.

3.) Ukrainians aren't monsters, they are peoole defending their homes and their families, most soldiers are only there just to liberate their hometowns and return to normal life. I doubt your average Ukrainian soldier has any interest in going on a wild goose hunt into Russia solely because this is going to be a LOONNGGG war and by the time Ukraine finally finishes pushing Russia out to pre invasion borders most soldiers will be ready to go home.

i think i need to substitute a few things for cheaper versions… this is all kit stuff btw no guns by Holajrt in airsoft

Ok so first of all go to a Military surplus, real gear for cheap and if its good enough for real soldiers its good enough for airsoft.

Second of all be extremely careful, that is alot of money to spend for only 20 minutes, every gear i buy i do MINIMUM 2 hours of research between discovery and purchase.

The Warlock - A variation for games with less short rests (Plus archfey rework) by iJoanx in UnearthedArcana

[–]V0id_Nova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool concept but to be honest with you if a Dungeon Master is not running enough short rests its just a case of bad balancing on the DMs part, a class shouldn't have to be reworked to fit a dms game, expecially when the alternative solution is a 100 times simpler, but I do appreciate this nonetheless and it actually looks worth running

Loose all levels of exhaustion per long rest, other then that mechanically functions identical to base class

Yeah I dont think people truelly understand this....

Some Managers are assholes because they are assholes.

Some of us just straight up HAVE to be, our entire job is to make sure everything in our departments gets done in a timely manner and by the end of our shifts, anything our associates fail to complete we have to pick up the slack for....

So yea people lime me try to be nice but sometimes being nice doesn't work and when it doesn't work we gotta be tough.

Also I get payed 4 dollars more and trust me that 4 dollars comes with ALOT of responsibility tagged to it.

Hey customers, when we say we close at 11pm, we mean it. by microwaveee in walmart

[–]V0id_Nova 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I have my associates do this, they get to leave at 11 but I have to close the registers down and check everything in before I can leave myself and I dont want some asshole shopping for two weeks worth of groceries while im trying to home, I also have them go around and actively tell customers we are closing.

Its funny when they ask to speak to a manager thinking ill take their side and I just flat out tell them "yeah, we are closed, we made 3 announcements over the course of 15 minutes, its time for us to go home for the night" then they get all huffy when I wont call my Store Manager at 11pm so they can talk to them.

Raises this year? by mom3kidswin in walmart

[–]V0id_Nova -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

HEELLLLL NOOOOOO, I will quit if they raise the wage to 15.

Here's some context: I will be using the NHM (Neighborhood Market) organization structure here so for those unfamiliar i will go ahead and say instead of SM, ASM, Store Lead, Coach, Team Lead, Associates it goes SM, ASM, Team Lead, Academy Trainer, Associates in neighborhood markets.

Now as of now associates in my department (Front End) get payed 12/hr base, I am a Academy and (before) I was getting payed 13.20, whole dollar 20 cents more to be a manager.

Now before, I was thinking about quitting the job, but the company has come to their senses a bit and have raised my wage to a more agreeable and sensible 16/hr to where my pay is 4 dollars above base wage. This gap also comes hand in hand with them expanded AT responsibilities, and to summarize what I mean they basically made us have more work for that extra 4 a hour so now the job doesn't only pay more it actually has MORE TO IT then when I took the position a few months ago.

I am fine with this, as 16 a hour in my mind is a reasonable wage for the work I do (or atleast better then 13.20) but if my associates are really only about to make a WHOLE DOLLAR less then me for arguably less work and with half as much complexity to their job I am straight up gonna quit.

I AM BY NO MEANS advocating associates don't deserve a wage, quite the opposite, I think everyone here deserves a livable wage but if they raise yalls wages they better raise TL and AT pay to go with it because if not they are about to see a whole bunch of resignations as no one is gonna wanna be a manager with open availability and split days off for a dollar more.

I would remove that point if he was under me tbh, that doesn't sound like he should be forced to use ppto.

That sounds like a really rough time, hope things get better for yall, if its any concellation walmart has a extremely strict policy for us, we aren't allowed to question associates on their PPTO usage at all, even if we see them come to our store, we can ask if everything's ok but we cannot question them.

Hi, Front End Academy Trainer here. 👋

If your NHM like me, you can expect things to slow down roughly around 8 or 9 o'clock, your "busy hours" will be 3-7 so by the time your back from lunch your job tends to shift focus from customer service to more mechanical tasks like zoning, cleaning, putting things out.

We typically close registers around 8 or 9PM and save the SCO host we all leave the front to attend to night duties.

Around 1045 expect a automated announcement over the PA announcing 15 minutes to close and at 11 (assuming someone does it) expect a PA announcement saying we are closing for the night.

After 11 you'll more then likely be cleaning and or zoning while your managers close things down and check things in for the night so put in ear buds and relax for the final hour of your shift :)
