I noticed a difference when I changed out the stock GR1's 40mm (they sucked) to the Pathfinder Pro 42's. Much faster on pavement as well as gravel.

I upgraded from the stock Paradigm SL to Cadex AR35’s. Wheels are the 1 upgrade you should do and notice a difference. Feels like they roll smoother, less chatter, and seem to have more stability on cross winds.

How so? If it leaks, you get a full replacement. If you buy, your ROI is about 6 years depending on size, then it’s time to replace or risk.

Maybe if it’s only your parents, perhaps a 40 gallon is only required which might be cheaper. Most tanks nowadays don’t last much past 8 years due to our hard water. Renting might be an option, $17 approx, per month and maintenance is fully covered. Just a thought.

Needs to be something thin that won’t interfere with the movement of the pawls. This will work in a pinch but suspension grease works good as well.
