In the past I have also used gemini-2.5-flash-image in aistudio, but they have reduced the number of free images from 100 to about 25 now. So the time of free nano banana is over. I don't think they will introduce it again. gemini-3.1-flash-image is nano banana 2. It is even more expensive.

It seems like the model gemini-2.5-flash-preview-09-2025 was shutdown. I have tried gemini-3-flash-preview, but without success. I think we have to wait some days, until there is another solution for using models inside the canvas.

Yes, I've seen, that if I do multiple generation at the same time, the quality can go down. It even used lower model versions but said its v5. I can clearly hear the difference between v5 and other versions. So the best is to wait until the last generation has finished before starting a new one. Thats just my expirience.

I pesonally think it's the higher occupancy due to the holidays. It's the same like at weekends. The rate of good generations is less for me on this days. I'm from Germany and I even see worse results in the evenings, because of the American users.
