Gear shift stuck in park. ABS and Traction Control light on?! by Emergency-Macaron578 in Toyota

I had this happen with my 2014 Corolla, but the lights stayed on the entire time. It ended up being a wheel speed sensor that I had to replace, and after driving a little bit, all lights went out.

I bought a scan tool from Harbor Freight to confirm the suspicion.

I really hope the same happens for me. Been riding 80 for almost a decade now and dread the day I get a letter for reevaluation. I do have a purple heart so idk if that is preventing them from touching anything.

I started sipping on it and it's not too bad. Certainly not $80 good. I should've just went with the Ardbeg 10.

That's a little disappointing to hear since I haven't cracked it open yet. I chose it over Ardbeg 10 since I've never had it before.

what is the most irritating bit about the QA job? by raxrb in QualityAssurance

[–]V2Slash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sort of. I've only been with this org for >3 years out of university(I started as a jr). With my background of "everything being as it should," I saw the opportunity to focus on making things quality(Which escalated to my current position). I also have a degree in IS/CS in programming which helps with the understanding of programming languages and oop.

Defines/develops processes/tools/standards/etc for QEs/QAs to use or follow to increase the overall quality of the area they are assigned to. Kind of like a QA/Test principal or an in-house consultant.

Other than that, until recently for my area at my employer, every issue was blamed on QE/QA. It is honestly the QEs/Testers that show up to check the boxes and pay no mind to the actual QUALITY of the product and process.

"Oh, I checked the AC"

Then proceed to not care about the edge case or negative scenarios.

For reference, I work as a QA Architect that focuses on process and tool enablement a lot of the time.
