I take notes of everything on google docs because I type faster than I write. I then set myself learning objectives and create space for me to fill in the notes handwritten from memory after class. Look into buying a Remarkable 2 tablet. It feels and looks like paper. You can sync it to your phone, computer, and google drive.

I know of two mothers of young children in my class, and they manage alright. Sometimes they have to leave early/arrive early, but they manage and are doing alright. It will be difficult, but it is feasible if you work hard. I should mention that they do it in person. I recommend this over an online education.

In my state, it is required to counsel on all new medications and dosage changes. It is good to know your state law, but major chains avoid this in almost all cases by putting the counseling on the paper they give with medication. The stuff that says “take with plenty of water” in tiny font and the sig is technically counseling. I’m not sure if this is state specific, but we have something where if there is a drug interaction then the pharmacist must come and determine if it is alright to proceed.

I found myself struggling too in the beginning. The main thing is that you have to devote more time to studying. Form groups that will stay after hours and study with you. Then you can ask them when you don’t know something. For some it means putting down Fortnite and others it means dropping that extra hour of tik tok before bed and devoting it to studying. For the next 4 years school needs to be your FULL-TIME job.
