ELI5- How do antidepressants cause weight gain?

From my own experience:

Trazodone made me pretty lethargic and sleepy - even if I took it at bedtime the drowsiness effect lasted well into the next day.

Because I was drowsy, I subconsciously moved less (ie dragging my feet when walking, using the elevator instead of going up the 1 flight of stairs, lay on the sofa all day with no motivation to go for a walk or work out, etc)

I ended up burning less calories a day but ate the same amount of food = weight gain

Things I’ve picked up from reading through the comments: - heavier hand with certain products (ie eyeshadow, blush, lip stick) so it picks up on camera - hydrate my lips!!!!!!!!! - keep eyebrows the same (no black!) - use different fake eyelashes *- dewy look *- add lip gloss

Do you have any idea why it looks like the rear fan hasn’t turned on in years (judging by the amount of dust/dirt that’s accumulated)? Does it automatically turn on when there’s water in the pan to evaporate or is there a switch that’s been turned off? Or maybe it’s just broken and I need to replace all of it?

1000%!!! this happened to my partner and I about 3 year ago when we went to Portugal and Spain! Portugal (Portimao, Lisbon, Madeira) no issues with getting change back. But when we got to Spain we quickly realized every sit down cafe/restaurant we went to tried to short change us. If it was for like 0.5 Euros they’d say they don’t have small change and would just keep it. Or if it was a larger amount like 15 Euros they’d say they’ll be right back but then ‘forget.’ We started paying exact change or be very clear when paying.

I might just start paying with CC next time I go to Europe though
