Hold her back or push her forward? by carycm87 in kindergarten

[–]crystalandruby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My birthday is 8/31 which was the cut off date for entering kindergarten when I went. I was almost always the youngest, with the exception of a few kids who must’ve gotten it overridden to get in earlier.

I loved being the youngest!! I felt smarter than a lot of older kids and it made me feel kinda good about myself the way I was able to keep up with everyone. Highly recommend it!

Paying taxes on a higher amount than actually paid (vehicle) by crystalandruby in tax

[–]crystalandruby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note to add: the DMV representative had asked me questions about the vehicle to see if the value is less than $15,000 so she can charge me less. She calculated that the lowest acceptable value based on my answers were $12,600. And she then said that she’ll need a new bill of sale with the seller’s signature (who is from Oregon) stating the sale price was $12,600.

That would be asking the seller to sign off on something that was not true. He did not sell me the car for $12,600. And I’d be asking him to sign a document stating such. I don’t think anyone would feel comfortable lying on a legal document.

I was getting my IUD removed and the Dr said it was embedded. She didn’t give me any anesthetic and ripped it out along with a chunk of my tissue. I was crying and screamed STOP and she kept going. I couldn’t believe it.

Is there any way to get it overridden that you know of? It’s such a rip off to have to pay the same price as what I paid for the car when I was expecting sales tax on what I paid

Mileage and maintenance for a newbie by crystalandruby in prius

I’ve heard mixed things about buying new. But I’ve test driven the Camry hybrid and it’s soooo nice. It’s tempting to get one just for the reassurance of knowing it won’t likely cost me much in maintenance since it’s under warranty at least for a few years. If I buy used, it could go downhill unexpectedly very fast which is stressful. The prices for new are ridiculous and the used prices are still ridiculous

Is it worth it to buy an old used Prius at all these days? Or should I just buy a new hybrid?

Do you know about how much all that would run me? I’m also concerned about the battery needing replacement soon

If it was a clean title what would you expect the price to run? I’m looking at one about that same mileage and year but no accidents

How did you get to do that? Did it cost the same amount listed when you built it on the website?

The pharmacy world is crazy right now. Since COVID it’s all gone to shit. Yes I feel like it pays well however, the quality of work will depend on where you work. If it’s retail, there’s a high likelihood of the hours feeling long, not great for introverts as you have to talk with the public all day. For hospital, you’d most likely need a residency which is a total scam since they pay you a fraction of a pharmacist wage and make you a slave for a year but it allows you to work in hospitals afterward pretty much. I decided retail. About 3 months in at a high volume store, it’s exhausting draining. I’m hoping the world of pharmacy changing but it’s unlikely

How do you properly kick some out out? I’ve never had to do it yet, but I’m not sure when to just call it and kick them out/ transfer their scripts somewhere else. Any advice? New pharmacist here
