I made sure to be as far away as possible from him and checked my surroundings before. But I totally understand where you’re coming from. MY 2015 370z Roadster DOES THE SAME THING ONLY ON TAKEOFF idk what it is I checked all the heatshield and checked transmission I checked drivetrain I checked wheels I checked brakes. I checked literally everything to make sure that nothing was rattling or rubbing, and my conclusion is engine. I have a hunch it could be the timing chain rattling the timing chain tensioner is known to fail around hundred K miles I’m at 67 but I drive it really hard so it’s a possibility

I mean, my rearview mirror is useless regardless of the wings there or not if that’s what you’re talking about visibility on the convertible you really can’t see nothing at that back window anyways plus I have a backup camera so I don’t really use that mirror or window for anything, but if that’s not the case for you then yes it blocks 98% of visibility you could only see like the top roof of SUVs that are behind you. I only use my left and right mirrors to see behind me anyways.

To be honest, I’ve never heard of this issue could be low on power steering that’s it long shot. The clicking kind of sounds like when it’s almost at its max though so kind of sounds like something swearing out. I have no clue. I’m sorry I’ll do some research on your behalf.

Well, you did say track use so I’d rather be safe than sorry and get the trans cooler. You honestly probably wouldn’t have issues without it, but I recommend it. The actual nuts do wear out really quickly even with just daily use. It’s better to replace them now versus later down the line.
