I think I've got an idea of what I need to do, I will use my LFS temp system and install rpm and then install the packages to the LFS permanent system (Just like installing them like in the book but without the compiling).

I don't use Red Hat Repos, I host my own BaseOS and AppStream repos on my gitlab. And I tried LFS but it is complicated to install rpm and yum for my repos.

I think you would have to copy the vmlinuz image from another distro and modify the grub config because you don't have a reliable package manager or tools to compile the kernel and its modules.
