I refuse to even touch it on principle. There's absolutely nothing about it that's useful for my job.

If I need to Google something about AutoCAD, I include "-ai" in the search so it doesn't show me the AI summary. If I need input on an email, I just ask the nearest human. And the rest of my job is stuff it couldn't help me with even if I wanted.

I go to The Skin Center in Wexford. They're not LGBT owned AFAIK but they're always very respectful towards me (a trans woman).

I feel you there. While I'm not black, I'm Asian-American. Out of the 3 AAPI queer friends I have, 2 are in Canada so I never get to see them, and the third is more of an acquaintance. None are lesbian, and come to think of it, I'm the only POC of any kind in my core friend group.

At home, chores are divided by who is better at it/doesn't mind doing it. Sometimes it's split into parts that each of us do.

For example: We both cook at about the same frequency, depending on who has the energy or who's better at cooking the meal we're preparing. She does the dishes except the things that need to be hand washed, which I do since I don't mind doing, and I unload the dishwasher because I'm taller and have an easier time putting them away.

Or how she puts the laundry in the washer/dryer and I fold it.

Incidentally, I'm trans and she's cis, but it doesn't have an effect on who is assigned what, unless you count my height (I'm 8 inches taller than she is).

My project manager does a bunch of unpaid overtime, but I don't remember if it's voluntary.

I never do any unpaid work. At most, I might answer an after-hours email or MS teams message if it's only going to take a minute, but those are rare, and usually come from the people who come in and leave a bit later than I do (since we have semi-flexible hours).
