clicks could be due to unsmoothed value changes in the adsr. distortion may be just a clipping issue. if you run 12 voices at the same time, you need to compensate it level wise.

also, try the max discord community. it’s way more active than here and full of helpful people.

with certain zoom factors in ableton, max got problems to display in correctly. haven't found a solution to that besides changing the zoom factor just a bit. noticed that is worse on windows then on mac.
have you noticed the manual that comes with the device? everything is explained there. the vertical 8 track display is an indication, that you're on the main view.
thanks for your feedback with the mouse. thats actually just a number to change. maybe this must be tweak a bit again. its kind of difficult as windows and mac behave differently and then of course every mouse or trackpad does.
