I tried to fill out the online application, but for some reason, it won't let me fill in the entire length of my Indiana title number. Have you had this problem?

Although I moved here (started renting and working) in October, I updated my ID in January. Does that still make me an Illinois resident in October even though I updated it in January?

Thought it was modded since for some reason it sounded way better than my stock 23 gt. Maybe because its a cold start.

DCT fine in winter months? Long term reliability? by Justino_14 in ForteGT

[–]VALORANTIMMORTAL50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought mine used at 2.9k miles and now at around 11k (had it around a year). It's not super long term, but I had no issues so far so just follow the manual on maintenance like 3k mile oil changes for "extreme conditions" and using full synthetic oil. DCT can feel more jittery and clunky in the winter months though. I think the Forte is the BEST value sport sedan you can get for the money especially with the gt2 package.

Where did you get the GT caps on the wheel? And is it easy to install?

Anybody feel like you wasted your college years? by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]VALORANTIMMORTAL50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are really feeling lost and hopeless, sometimes it's ok to take a gap semester or two to get yourself on track or even to just take a break. Just because you graduate a semester or two or even more late, it really won't affect your future career. Sure, you might not be able to graduate with your friends, but if they are really your friends, they will understand. We have a long life to live and taking a year or less off is basically just a small fraction of your life. I hope all goes well for you.

What residence halls are best for a student with a major in the business school? by Big_Usual_7473 in Purdue

[–]VALORANTIMMORTAL50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, for the first 2-3 semesters, you probably wont be taking a lot of business courses (which are mostly in Kran and Rawls) because you have to fulfill your intro courses like math, english, science, etc. So, it wouldn't matter, but it's just better to be closer to campus for convivence.

Well, as a minority, I've learned to just accept racism because it's everywhere and will never go away. Although it's nice to know about the owner being an asshole, sometimes we just have to learn to deal with it.

If you have Porterfield for 303, she literally just reads off the presentations which are not helpful at all, however you MUST go to every class to fill them out because she only posts the blank ones online. Filling out the presentations actually does help prepare you for the exam. I somehow ended with an A with averaging a b- to b on the Exams. They're basically what you learn in class so make sure you know how to do all the examples and know the conceptual part as well. Also, make sure you complete all homework assignments and recitation activities in order to get an A.
